Tissue & Recovery Research Peptides
Lyophilised Powder
TB-500 is a synthetic peptide fragment corresponding to the active region of Thymosin Beta-4 (T?4), a naturally occurring 43 amino acid protein found in virtually all mammalian cell types. Thymosin Beta-4 was first isolated and characterised from the thymus gland and has since been identified as a major actin-sequestering protein in eukaryotic cells.
Published research has extensively investigated Thymosin Beta-4 and its active fragments for their roles in cell migration, angiogenesis, and extracellular matrix remodelling. Studies in peer-reviewed journals have examined TB-500’s interaction with actin polymerisation — specifically its ability to sequester G-actin monomers, which plays a central role in cellular motility and structural organisation. Research has also explored its effects on inflammatory mediator expression, matrix metalloproteinase activity, and stem cell differentiation in cardiac, dermal, corneal, and musculoskeletal systems.
This product is supplied as a lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in a sealed glass vial. It is intended exclusively for use in controlled laboratory settings by qualified researchers.
